Stylish, chic and classy is what the women at ‘Sumu La Penzi’ exhibit. But beneath the superficial, they are all struggling with different aspects of their lives.
Eva the romantic is tangled up in a web of lust and fantasy with Martin, her baby daddy. Together with her friends Mariam and Ama, they look for solutions for their troubles. They are hang tight, have each others backs and will claw the next woman who crosses the line. But lately, Mariam and Eva have been fighting. Eva only has Ama and her employee Tindi to talk to because Mariam is still seething.
Eva’s boutique hasn’t been doing well. Following Ama’s advice, she threw a sales party for her clients. But things don’t go according to plan. First her food got burnt and the guests made all sorts of demands and Tindi lost her cool and told off her clients.
Often, we go out of our way to please people who don’t really care. We buy new shoes, new clothes, and heck! We even get new friends to show to strangers we hope to impress. Eva makes the same mistake we all do, trying to please everyone at our own expenses. We end up trying too hard and losing a bit of who we are in the process.
Will Eva be able to turn-around her business after all this trouble? How long will it take for the ice to thaw between Eva and Mariam?
