The tycoon in Sumu La Penzi, Victor ( Ainea Ojiambo ), the polished and cultured older man has too much time and money to spoil on his only daughter Olive. Whilst swimming in money, he finds out that the apple of his eye, Olive is dating a hard-to-miss ‘pauper’ with the gift of the gab. Victor intends to make sure the man his daughter is dating is worth his salt. Tash (DNG), the prolific and rising star at Sizzling Radio feels the unspoken challenge as his girlfriend’s father continues trying to intimidate him.
But Tash is too far gone in his pursuit of being a better man that the intimidation is almost lost on him and this thoroughly impresses Victor.
It always seems like no one is good enough for our children, as if our children are the epitome of perfection and no one can really match up to that. Some parents take this perception beyond their thoughts and become the monsters we are all afraid of. Monsters-in Law.
When Tash is forced to go for an interview by his potential father in-law, he was certain it may not end well. Olive had to convince him to give it a shot.
