Eva is in quite a fix. On one hand she has the confident politician, Martin, and on the other she has the smooth talking business savvy Eric who won’t take no for an answer. Her best friend, Mariam, knows exactly who she should go for but Eva is a little confused…let’s look at the men a little closer to find out who is the better option.
Martin (the main man)
Women love a confident man and Martin is the dictionary definition of this. He walks into a room like he owns it and he makes no apologies for this.
Chums: This guy is loaded (might be acquired dubiously but it is his money).
Girls like Eva don’t come cheap and Martin knows this. He puts her up in an expensive penthouse and caters for all her financial needs.
Decisiveness: There’s no quality more attractive in a man than the ability to make firm decisions and make them fast. If Martin wants something done now, he gets it done now!
The bad
On the flip side Martin tends to be a chauvinist. He does not want Eva to have a career of her own, he controls and monitors her social life and even tells her what to wear. He also has an abusive trait, nothing physical yet but he is constantly abusing Eva emotionally, eroding her self-esteem. And of course there is the “small issue” of this man being married with kids. It is double standards with Martin; he wants to have his cake and eat it.
Eric (the rival)
The good
Eric is dapper. Sharp business suits, well shaved, crisp shirts and clearly expensive shoes. Eric is well groomed and knows how to stand out. There are a lot of business men in town but Eric is clearly one of the wealthy ones and he looks the part. You can find a man with all these qualities but they don’t often come along single and ready to mingle.
The bad
There is a thin line between being a well groomed man and being narcissistic. Eric goes a little overboard with the grooming and this can sometimes be a turn off. A woman does not want to be with a man who is prettier than she is. He is also a braggart; constantly feeding his friends with details of his dating life. He can also be a little too smooth. He will tell you exactly what you want to hear and make all the right moves at the right time but probably does the same for every girl he fancies. He doesn’t respect boundaries. The more Eva pushes him away the harder he pursues her.
So who should Eva go for? The possessive politician or the rich play boy?
